Caister Utd A 4 - 1 CARPATHIANS   Carpathians were up against a strong Caister side in the Burgess Cup 1st round match but still managed to create plenty of chances as did Caister.   Carpathians took the lead after 25 minutes when NATHAN MARSHALL latched onto a defensive error to score.  The lead was short lived, however, when Caister levelled straight from the kick-off.  Carpathians had more chances but failed to capitalise and then saw Caister go ahead 2 minutes from half-time including an injury to our keeper which meant L. Grigg deputizing for the 2nd half.   Caister then pressurised for long periods of the 2nd half testing the Carpathians stand-in keeper and the defence which held out until the 68th minute when they increased their lead.   Carpathians did press for a while with K. Driver shooting narrowly wide but Caister hit back to score 2 more goals on 76 minutes and the last kick of the match.     Against a strong side and struggling with injuries and call-offs Carpathians did not fare too badly.
