CARPATHIANS 1 - 3 Gt. Yarmouth United


Carpathians took on Gt Yarmouth United with a depleted team, due to injuries and call offs and yet another different defence. 

Gameplay was fairly even with Carpathians creating some very good chances but failed to convert.  After 30 minutes United took the lead and continued to press until half-time.

Carpathians came out more determined in the second half and eventually put away one of their many chances on 76 minutes.  A long throw in from I. Coote, headed on by N.  Marshall  allowed OWEN BEEVOR to hit the back of the net.

However, 2 minutes later United broke through and a last ditch tackle only managed to roll the ball into the bottom corner. United wrapped up the game a further 2 minutes later.

Carpathians made a spirited effort to get back into the game but good attempts were aimed straight at the keeper.

Carpathians were defeated by a more determined team on the day.
