Carpathians started brightly and had a few early chances but all to no avail as MK took a 12 minute lead with a looping shot over the keeper.
Carpathians spurned more chances before MK increased their lead after 25 minutes from a free kick.
However, LEIGH GRIGG clawed a goal back 13 minutes before half-time. This should have been the platform for Carpathians to capitalise but only lasted 4 minutes when MK got back their 2 goal advantage from a corner.
Carpathians did continue to press but with shots that resembled back passes we were never going to rescue the game.
The team changed yet again but the new players showed promise.
