Carpathians started well with some good moves and passes throughout the first half with many shots on target but unfortunately all went high or wide.
Carpathians had the advanatage of the wind but just couldn't make use of it, even to the extent that our keeper Lewis Oram kicked the ball from his area only to nearly score but the Fighting Cocks keeper just managed to get his hands to it to knock it over the bar.
The second half started much the same with an excellent free-kick from Daniel Saunders onto Ian Coote's head but rebounded off the post.
Trying to fight against the wind this half Gavin Sweeby made a good run through their defense to have a shot only to be stopped by their keeper.
The Fighting Cocks took the advantage of the wind and scored on 60 mins with what was a cracking power shot.
Carpathians still kept their heads but could not defend well with the wind and the Cocks scored again on 62mins.
A few more good chances were created for both sides but game ended 2-0 to the opposition.
